2nd Shoot: Beauty Shoot Look 3

Ok, So I know I've been way way behind with posting the rest of the looks. But hey, at least now I'm halfway :) It's just really been taking me awhile to settle with how I want to do the PP for the photos. I don't want to post just for the sake of posting. I don't want to post stuff I don't really like. I want to make sure that I like them. I mean, if I don't, then what are the chances somebody else will? I should be done with the rest of the looks before the year ends. Promise! :D And after I'm done with the last of the beauty shoot, I will post my learnings. So much I learned from this shoot. So so much. So here is look 3 guys and girls, I hope you like them :)

P.S. I will be doing another shoot soon. It will be the start of another project series that shall remain a secret for now. All I can say is that I'm excited to start on it! :)

Figured it out!

Last August 2009, my friend dropped by my place to help with my homework. While he was going over my work I was taking pictures aimlessly. Then I took pictures of him and tried to figure out how they did those black and white portraits similar to the ones I took below. Did a little trial and error then finally figured it out! :) Want one? Get in touch with me.

Is it just me or when you look at these pictures it reminds you of politics/politicians?

And oh, correction about the terms of agreement regarding blog posting with my friend. It's a minimum of one entry every three days and not just one entry. So the advanced entries I thought I had are not considered advanced anymore. This is for my Tuesday post.

This is the 2nd Look that I've posted out of the 6. I'm still having a hard time trying to figure out how I want to do the Post Process for the rest. But rest assured I am working on them. Hope to finish look 3 by next weekend and do another shoot as well. This is the 2nd half of the photos for the 2nd look. This is the "beauty pageant" look.

This is the 2nd Look that I've posted out of the 6. I'm still having a hard time trying to figure out how I want to do the Post Process for the rest. The different tones of the photos below were done on purpose, as well as the blurring.
This is only half of the photos for the 2nd look so watch out for the other half real soon.

Sincerest Apologies

Haven't posted in awhile. I've been busy with school and when I do have free time I just want to relax. So that explains the absence of new posts. I'm tired from all the school work I've been doing. I can't wait to get it all over with! After September 1, I will be free as a bird. I can't wait! I promise I will make up for the lack of new posts during my break. And I'm sure you guys are wondering where the pictures from the 2nd shoot are. Don't worry, I will post them ASAP during my break and hopefully do another shoot then. Bimi

Because I haven't done a shoot in a while, I will be posting pictures from past shoots.



I remember doing this shoot last April 2008. It was my very first attempt at trying to do "studio" portraits. I used a garden light, cheap fabric as backdrop hung on a white board, a diffuser, and a table. The raw pictures were not so presentable so I edited them in Black & White. The girl below is my very good friend Bimi.

Will be shooting this Friday (hopefully). Finalizing the theme and etc. Watch out for it! :D

I'm OKaye

This was a spur of the moment shoot I did last April 2008 with my Ate Kaye. We were bored at the office and decided to do a little shoot. Luckily, the light was just perfect. Took this around 5pm. (Hi Ate Kaye! miss you na!)

And oh, the cam I used to take these photos will soon be hers. I'm getting a Nikon D90 soon :) yey! I'm so excited :D
