"KAPE"

TO WATCH OUR SHORT FILM "KAPE"

Sorry if it took forever to post this. Been too busy or kept forgetting to copy it from my group mate. And sorry if it's not on Youtube and it re-directs you to my groupmate's Tumblr instead. Apparently it's too big to be uploaded. This isn't our best work as a group. So yeah... we apologize. We could have done better given we had more time. Hope you enjoy it anyway :)

Kape

Photobucket

So this is the poster I designed for our short film entitled "Kape". It may look simple but it took me forever to finally settle on this design. I slept at around 4 or 5am this morning finishing this. Then I woke up at 8am to meet with my group mates to cram last minute stuff for our short film presentation and to print our publicity materials. I'll be posting our BTS photos and the final video once I get a copy so watch out for it!  :)

Looking for Love...

... is not what I'm doing. It's the title of my 1st ever short film (if you can even call it that). I guess you could consider this as my pre-valentine post. This is our 2nd exercise for TELPROD. We had to come up with a 5-minuter mood piece. No dialogue, music with no lyrics. It was suppose to test our choice of angles/shots and how effectively we can tell a story. Anyways, I'm no film expert. So yeah... you be the judge if this was a success or failure. As for the story line, you'll just have to watch the video for yourself. The story will depend on how you understand the film.

If you thought this film was crap, forgive me if I made you waste 5 minutes of your time.
But if you enjoyed it then please do let me know!
Your appreciation will be much appreciated.

Love Without Talking

Time check: 11:40AM
[ ] packed

[x] waste time

Found this really nice short film in Karen Pimantuan's blog and thought I'd share it with you guys. After watching this, it's making me think of doing a short film for thesis. Hmmm... I'm inspired to consider doing one now, but we'll see. Just a few days ago, we watched a couple of short films made by previous batches for their thesis during one of our major subjects. The short films we watched were awarded best thesis. After watching them I was definitely set on doing photo essay for my thesis. Making a short film just seems like A LOT of work. As in, A LOT. But the video you're about to watch made me realize otherwise. It doesn't have to be all that complicated. I can make one that's simple but very witty. The short film below is simple in every sense. Minimal/no speaking parts, few locations, minimal/simple acting. How can something so simple be this good? Anyways, go watch it for yourselves and see what I'm talking about.
