Because I haven't done a shoot in a while, I will be posting pictures from past shoots.



I remember doing this shoot last April 2008. It was my very first attempt at trying to do "studio" portraits. I used a garden light, cheap fabric as backdrop hung on a white board, a diffuser, and a table. The raw pictures were not so presentable so I edited them in Black & White. The girl below is my very good friend Bimi.

Will be shooting this Friday (hopefully). Finalizing the theme and etc. Watch out for it! :D

Camera + Tripod + A Little Creativity + Patience + Photoshop =

Did this last March 2008 in school with the help of a friend. The tripod wasn't very steady so that created a little problem when I was editing it in photoshop. Hope you guys don't notice it.

Thanks so much Dom for taking my pictures otherwise I would be so tired from taking timer shots over and over again. hehehe :)

I'm OKaye

This was a spur of the moment shoot I did last April 2008 with my Ate Kaye. We were bored at the office and decided to do a little shoot. Luckily, the light was just perfect. Took this around 5pm. (Hi Ate Kaye! miss you na!)

And oh, the cam I used to take these photos will soon be hers. I'm getting a Nikon D90 soon :) yey! I'm so excited :D

Just when I was feeling so stupid for being right, I realized I was wrong and felt even more stupid. Sigh.

Kid for a moment

During the suspension of classes due to the AH1N1 outbreak I went back home to the province. It rained quite a lot and you could just sense the season changing. One Saturday (June 13, 2009) afternoon it rained really hard and I was just in my room using the internet. It poured so much I had to close my windows even though I thought it would not last long. Then minutes went by and the rain still had not stopped so I thought 'Why not play in the rain?' Last time I did that was a few years back and I just really missed it. And so I did. I just love the feeling the rain gives me when it touches my skin. It feels really therapeutic. I feel like I'm being cleansed by the heavens. Then while playing under the rain I was thinking of rain songs. First song that came to my mind was Hillary Duff's song Come Clean. The other was a part of Natasha Bedingfield's song Unwritten. Both songs somehow encapsulated my feelings at that moment (I pasted the lyrics below for reference). And oh! I took pictures too. hehehe :D yes, while it was raining.
