Pecha Kucha Night Manila Vol. 3

(late post)
PECHA KUCHA WAS SOOOO WORTH IT!
EVEN IF:

- The ticket was Php 220
I got more than my money's worth!
I had a free cup of Golden Spoon Yogurt + Drink + Popcorn
and to top it all
I got loads of magazines for FWEEEEEE! (5 Rogue's, 2 Adobo's, & 1 BluPrint)
Though I'm pretty sure we weren't supposed to get that many. But hey, I just followed the people before me.

- I had to go through the worst MRT ride of my life!
(Imagine being squished by sweaty stinky people from both doors/sides. People were forcing themselves in even if the train was clearly full. They shoved their freaking way in >.< ) So why did I take the MRT instead of taking a cab? Well, I was trying to save money coz I was so broke from all the school projects already. And I seriously thought that I went early enough to avoid all the rush hour chaos. But I estimated wrong.

- I ended up going alone
I bumped into a few friends and ended up not being alone

And Marc Nicdao, a personal idol of mine, closes the night. He's surprisingly not comfortable speaking in public. He showed us pictures from his trips that he has never shown to an audience. So I guess we were lucky :)

Pecha Kucha

Photobucket

This is the 3rd Pecha Kucha Night in Manila but this is the first time I've heard of it. Was I living under a rock the whole time? Anyways, I'm excited to attend this because my professor from last term, Wawi Navarroza, will be part of it. Also because Mark Nicdao, a photographer I admire, is one of the speakers. Got my ticket ready!  :-)

I have died and gone to plaid & gingham heaven :)

I've had a plaid obsession since... high school? And for some reason I just can't help but fall in love with them. It's something I've been trying to get over, but I don't think I ever will.
